Website accessibility
The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 makes it a legal requirement for all
websites to be accessible. Kiosk has a wealth of expertise in inclusive design
and website accessibility. We design to the World Wide Web consortium’s
[WC3] standards to develop Bobby compliant sites.
As well as being a legal requirement, there is also a good business case
for making your site accessible: Research shows that accessible; WC3 compliant
websites are more usable, which benefits all your site visitors. Making your
website accessible to the broadest audience possible also means that you
a gain access to a valuable additional audience with significant spending-power.
Dave Holden, our creative director is one of the country’s leading
accessibility practitioners; and presents regularly on accessibility and
inclusive design issues. Our team has produced award winning accessible sites
for a range of clients across various industry and public service sectors.
We also provide advice, inclusive design services, site audits and usability
testing. We often work with in-house teams to deliver accessible website
templates that can be maintained in-house by our clients.
